Terms

Version 2026-10-13 · Last updated October 13, 2026

These terms cover the DueYear website and the DueYear subscription. They say who sells it, what it includes, how it renews, how to cancel and how refunds work.

Draft

This page is a draft. It is waiting for review by a lawyer and may change.

Who we are

DueYear is published by CodeYaz, Eemstraat 38, 5704 MR Helmond, the Netherlands. When you buy a subscription, CodeYaz is the seller. You can reach us at hello@dueyear.com.

What DueYear is and is not

DueYear is an information product. It shows the yearly obligations we track for a US company, taken from the rules that states and federal agencies publish on their own websites, with a link to each source and the date we read it.

DueYear is not legal or tax advice and does not tell you what your company ought to do. We do not file documents, fill in forms, prepare returns or send payments, and we do not act for you with any state or agency. DueYear is a private service. It is not part of any state or federal agency.

DueYear covers the obligations named on its pages. A company can have obligations that are not listed here. Our Disclaimer says more.

The free parts

The Delaware franchise tax calculator, the guides and the calendar preview are free to use, without an account. The calculator and the calendar work in your browser: in these free parts, the figures and answers you type are not sent to us. If you join the waitlist, we store what our Privacy page lists.

The subscription

A DueYear subscription is for one company and runs for one year at a time. For that company it includes:

  • Every row with its date, amount and sources
  • Email reminders before each date
  • A note when one of these rules changes

The price is $49 a year for each company. It is shown on the checkout page before you pay. Sales tax is added where it applies and is shown at checkout before you pay. Payments are handled by Stripe: your card details go to Stripe, not to us.

To keep the calendar and reminders for a company, we store the answers you gave for it and the company name you enter. One email address can hold subscriptions for more than one company. Our Privacy page lists what we store and why.

Renewal

Your subscription renews each year, at the price in force at renewal, until you cancel it.

At checkout you agree to these renewal terms with a separate checkbox that is not ticked in advance. We keep a record of when you agreed and which version of these terms you agreed to.

We email you 30 days before each renewal, with the renewal date, the price and a link to cancel.

If the price changes, we email you 30 days before the new price applies to your subscription.

Cancellation

You can cancel at any time, in one step, from your account page. Each email we send about your subscription links to that page. You can also manage your payment details and invoices on the Stripe billing page linked from your account page, and cancel there.

When you cancel, the subscription stays active until the end of the year you paid for, then ends. It does not renew and you are not charged again. Cancelling does not by itself refund a charge; see Refunds.

You can also email us at hello@dueyear.com from the address on your account, and we will cancel it for you.

Refunds

Within 14 days of your first payment for a company, you can ask for a full refund. You do not need to give a reason.

The same applies to each renewal: within 14 days of a renewal charge, you can ask for a full refund of that charge.

To ask for a refund, email us at hello@dueyear.com from the address on your account. The refund goes back to the card or payment method you paid with.

If you ask for a second refund within twelve months, a person reviews it before it is made.

When a charge is refunded in full, the subscription it paid for ends at once.

Your account

You sign in with a link we email you. There is no password. Each link works once and stops working after a short time. Anyone who can open the link can sign in to your account, so please do not forward it.

Your account page lists your companies, the status of each subscription and the date it renews or ends. From there you can open each company’s calendar, add a company or cancel a subscription.

Accuracy and liability

We read each rule on the official page that publishes it, and we show its words, its source and the date we read it. Rules, fees and due dates change, and an official page can change after we read it. We check the sources we track for changes on a regular schedule, and a change can take time to reach your calendar. The official page linked next to each row is the authority, not DueYear.

We work to keep each record correct, but DueYear can contain errors and does not list everything a company can owe.

Changes to these terms

Each version of these terms has a version label and a date, shown at the top of this page. The version you agreed to at checkout stays on record.
